A Folklore and Art Museum has been created in the township of Orthos, featuring the revival of a traditional home of Karpathos, sponsored by the cultural association "Ergasia kai Hara" (In Work we Rejoice) 
An archaeological museum has been created at the village of Arkassa, sponsored by the church.
